Purple Media was formed in 2003 by Joe Kennard and Nigel Steer, the former a learning and development specialist trained in film production, the latter a commercial stills photographer with over 15 years experience; both with a passion for film and creative media.

There are many creative agencies, and many developers of communications and training material. The founding principle behind Purple Media was a desire to take the best from both worlds. To be as much concerned with the detail of the content as with the style of a piece, and to ally the creative, stylish presentation of traditional marketing materials with the disciplines of educational resources. Over the last couple of years we’ve been lucky to work with some amazing clients - offering them innovative ways of delivering information to their respective audiences.

We continuously invest in new and developing technologies and have brought together talented, creative individuals from many disciplines to ensure that we can offer blended solutions in a variety of media to best satisfy our customers’ requirements. Purple Media was founded on a passion for creativity, so we encourage all of our team to make use of company equipment and resources to create their own personal films, animations and video shorts. These un-commissioned projects allow us a chance to experiment, and often develop new ideas which, in turn, improve the work we carry out for our clients.
